# Quickstart

> Launch a complete VARAHI storefront in ten minutes — a guided checklist from empty theme to live store.

A ten-minute path from a freshly installed theme to a storefront that is ready to sell. Work down this page; each step is ordered so that nothing you set later gets undone.

Theme editor — theme settings and section list

***

## Before you start

**A flagship product**

VARAHI's homepage is written around **one** hero product. Pick the product you most
want to move. It should have good photography, a price you're proud of, and stock.

**A main navigation menu**

Create a menu in **Content → Menus → Main menu**. VARAHI's header shows your menu
inline on desktop and in the drawer on mobile.

**Your brand assets**

Transparent PNG or SVG logo, a square favicon, and a 1200×630 social image.

***

## 1 — Set the foundation

**1. Open the theme editor**

**Online Store → Themes → your theme → Customize**. Everything in this guide is done here. You never need to touch code.

**2. Set your three colours**

Go to **Theme settings → Colors**. You only have to touch three values to rebrand the entire theme:

| Setting | Default | What it drives |
| - | - | - |
| Primary Color | `#eafcff` | Buttons, links, focus rings, active states |
| Secondary Color | `#b87df8` | Accents, highlights, the violet counterpoint |
| Background Color | `#05080d` | Page canvas behind every section |

The remaining 18 tokens derive from these and auto-adjust. Full list in [Color system](https://varaahi.vritservicespro.com/settings/colors.md).

**3. Upload your logo and favicon**

**Theme settings → Favicon** and **Header → Logo**. The header supports a text wordmark (with an optional sub-label) or a custom image. See [Branding](https://varaahi.vritservicespro.com/settings/branding.md).

## 2 — Build the homepage

**1. Open the home page template**

In the theme editor, select **Home page** from the template picker at the top.

**2. Add the Hero Product section**

Click **Add section → Hero Product**. Then, in the section settings, choose your flagship product under **Product**.

> [!TIP]
>
> Leave **Product** blank and VARAHI will automatically fall back to the first product in your store. If your flagship product is ever deleted, the homepage keeps working — it will pick a new one.

**3. Add your supporting sections**

Use **Add section** to add, then drag to reorder. This is the order we recommend:

**1. Hero Product**

The buy-box hero. One product, one price, one decision.

**2. Bento Features**

A grid of feature cards — grid, list, or bento layout.

**3. Acoustic architecture**

A scroll-scrubbed engineering teardown. The single most distinctive section in the theme.

**4. Companion app**

Showcases your mobile app with an interactive device mockup.

**5. Comparison Table**

You vs. the competition. Add one row per competitor.

**6. Product Reviews**

Pulls real review metafields and renders them in a cinematic layout.

**4. Remove what you do not need**

Any section can be deleted with the **⋯ → Delete** menu. Leaving a section out is completely fine — the theme is designed so that a three-section homepage still looks finished.

***

## 3 — Set up the header and navigation

**1. Assign your menu**

**Theme settings → Header → Main Navigation Menu** → choose your menu. The header renders it inline from 1024px up, and in the mobile drawer below that.

**2. Check the logo lockup**

On a narrow phone the wordmark shrinks and the sub-label hides. Confirm the wordmark is not so long that the cart button gets pushed off-screen — if it is, shorten the wordmark or use a logo image instead.

**3. Turn on search and wishlist**

**Theme settings → Header → Enable search**. The wishlist and cart drawer are always present.

***

## 4 — Set up the product page

**1. Add the product blocks you want**

Open any product → **Theme editor → product template → Main product**. Enable blocks like *Vendor*, *Rating*, *Highlights*, and *Trust badges* to build out the buy box. Each block is toggleable and reorderable.

**2. Add the same sections you have on the homepage**

The product template supports **Acoustic architecture**, **Comparison Table** and **Companion app** too. For a product-led store, adding the architecture teardown to the product page — not just the homepage — is usually the single highest-impact change you can make.

***

## 5 — Check the essentials before launch

> **Does the homepage look right on a phone?**
>
> Narrow the browser to \~390px, or use your phone. The header collapses to logo, search, wishlist, account, cart and a drawer menu. The hero stacks image-first, then the story, then the buy box. Motion is disabled on mobile for speed.

> **Is the buy box adding the right product?**
>
> Add the product to the cart and check the line item, the quantity, and the variant. If you use bulk packs, test both the single and bulk tier.

> **Does the cart drawer work?**
>
> Click the cart button, add an item, change quantity, and remove an item. The drawer should update in place with no page reload.

> **Is your meta description set?**
>
> **Online Store → Preferences**. A missing meta description is the single most common SEO flag on a Shopify store. VARAHI outputs the page description when one exists.

> **Is the store password removed?**
>
> **Online Store → Preferences → Password protection**. A password-protected store cannot be indexed and cannot pass a real Lighthouse audit.
