Accounts & reviews
Two trust features that most themes treat as afterthoughts.Customer accounts
VARAHI uses Shopify’s native customer accounts — the same accounts your customers already have from the standard “Customer accounts” app — rendered inside the header in the theme’s own styling. This is deliberately not a custom login form. Building a custom account system
means handling password resets, sessions, MFA and email verification yourself, and
getting any of it wrong is a security incident. Shopify’s accounts are free,
hardened, and already there.

Reviews
The Product Reviews section reads from product metafields rather than from a specific app, so it works with any review app that writes to metafields.Metafields required
The verified badge only renders when
reviews.verified is truthy. If your app
uses a different key, the badge will not appear — this is the one metafield the
theme is strict about, because a badge that appears on unverified reviews is
misleading. How the section resolves which product to review
What it renders
A rating summary — large score, star display, review count — followed by the individual review cards, each with an author, date, verified badge and body. The empty state is deliberate: a visible, honest empty state rather than a missing section, because a missing section shifts the page layout.Trust, in one place
Both features feed the same goal: reduce the perceived risk of buying an expensive product from a store the shopper has never heard of.Product reviews
The section reference.
