The FAQ Item block

Only one item opens at a time by default, which keeps the section from growing unboundedly. Items are keyboard accessible and announced with the correct expanded state.
Answer the questions you actually get asked in support tickets. A FAQ that answers “What is your return policy?” and “Will this work with my phone?” earns more trust than one that answers “What is the meaning of life?” and “How do you feel about synergy?”

Rich text

A formatted text block with a heading, subheading, body, and an optional button.
Rich text is the one place where careless formatting causes real problems. A paragraph with a link inside a link, or a heading inside a heading, breaks the document outline and confuses screen readers. Keep it simple: one heading level per block.

Video

A responsive, lazy-loaded video with a poster frame.
A poster image is not optional in practice. Without one, a video section shows a black rectangle while it loads, which reads as a broken page. Use a frame from the video itself.
One product, presented large — a single-item showcase for a hero product, a launch, or a limited run.
A horizontal row of related products, driven by your store’s Search & Discovery app or Shopify’s merchandising rules.
If the section renders nothing, your store has no product relationship or collection set up. Connect Search & Discovery and set a rule, or select products manually.

Spacer

Adds vertical space between sections.
Prefer the theme’s own section rhythm over a stack of spacers. If you find yourself adding three spacers in a row, the section order is probably wrong.

Custom Liquid

Renders your own Liquid inside the theme editor. Useful for a promo banner, a verification widget, or an app snippet you need placed precisely.
This section renders your code on every page you add it to. A Liquid error here breaks the page, and an infinite loop will hang the store. Test on a duplicate theme first, and keep the code small.
